Desert Bird Watcher

You've probably seen these gorgeous birds in and around grassy parks in the Tucson metro area. They also inhabit those wooded areas along our waterways that are called mesquite bosques.

If you're lucky enough to live in or near any of these areas, you have a great chance of viewing these beautiful birds up close and personal by offering live meal worms in a feeder. During the spring and summer, you can even observe mom and dad bringing their fledglings to the meal worm feeder.
